The house is located in one of the most sought after holiday locations in Europe, at the footsteps of the Triglav National Park in a picturesque village of Blejska Dobrava near Bled, Slovenia. It is a starting point for hiking, cycling, visiting the famous Vintgar gorge as well as Lake Bled, Bohinj or Ossiach, Faaker & Wörthersee lakes (Austria). The house is surrounded by an organic apple trees garden and a 30m wide grass field behind (north side) that is embraced by old pear trees. Local organic food is produced in the village and natural spring potable water is also available on the property.
The village has its own connection to the main highway towards Austria (14km) and Ljubljana (60km). Italy is 40km away. The stone built house has a plentitude of rustic authentic architectural and furniture pieces within its 750+ sq. m. of potential residential area. Enormous old wooden beams cross the whole building adding a priceless look and feel.

At one time this was the biggest farm house in the village! It was used for many different tasks, from hay storage to schnaps distilling, so many tools and crafts are there for purely aesthetics purposes. The house features a stone build ground floor (27m x 9.5m) with 60cm thick walls, so during summer the temperature inside is always pleasant. On the first floor, one third of the house is brick build (4 additional rooms there) floored with a so called "ship deck" - a thick wooden floor that can lasts for hundreds of years. The other two thirds represent an enormous hay space (150 sq. m.), with a healthy wooden constructions reaching 10m high to the roof. It could be used for a spacious living room with a stone fire place or a gallery or for additional apartments... The second floor resides above the brick part of the first floor reaching up with a further attic place. The views from this floor are breathtaking, overlooking the whole valley...
